This blog is for the NTU flagship program project 5,water tower.
The Objective:
The objective of the competition is to design and construct a structure prototype (using balsa wood and glue) of a water tower that can support as much weight as possible.
The materials provided would be:
1)Balsa wood sticks (5 pieces), dimension for each piece: to be worked out
2)Base plate (25cm in diameter)
3)Water Tank
4)Balsa cement (Glue)
The equipment given would be:
1)Scissors
2)Cutter knives
3)Steel ruler
4)Triangle ruler
5)Pencils
6)Protractor
7)Compass
